Birmingham

Alida Coates heads the Birmingham workplace illness disease team. She trained and qualified with Irwin Mitchell in the Sheffield office in 1996. Alida was part of the team involved with the Hancock environmental asbestos case. In 1998 she moved to Birmingham and developed the specialist asbestos team.

Satinder Bains is a solicitor based in Birmingham who specialises in a wide range of industrial disease work. Satinder helps and supports those who, through no fault of their own, have been exposed to asbestos and she has successfully secured many settlements for people who have gone on to develop an asbestos related illness as a result of past asbestos exposure.

Iain Shoolbred

Iain is a Solicitor in the workplace illness team in the Birmingham Office. He has been with Irwin Mitchell since 2001, training and qualifying with the firm. Iain specialises in representing clients with asbestos related diseases.

Kim Barrett

Originally a psychiatric nurse, Kim Barrett qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and has over 10 years experience in personal injury and product liability law. She now specialises in asbestos related disease work and is currently based in the industrial disease department in the Birmingham office of Irwin Mitchell.

Hayley Hill

Hayley is a solicitor specialising in claims on behalf of people who have been affected by asbestos related illnesses, particularly assisting sufferers of, and the families of those affected by the asbestos related cancer, mesothelioma.
