He worked for an insurance company for three years defending workplace disease cases before jumping over the fence to work for the other side. He trained as a solicitor with a small Doncaster law firm acting on behalf of claimants seeking compensation for their industrial disease illness against their former employers.
Ben currently specialises in asbestos claims, but has an extensive experience in handling other types of industrial disease claims such as industrial deafness, vibration white finger, occupational asthma as well as public liability cases.
Ben was heavily involved in a successful vibration white finger group action of 15 test cases against Doncaster Trailer Manufacturing Firm Montracon with 35 further cases that were settled following on from the successful outcome of litigation.
Away from the office, Ben can be found playing Rugby for his local club and trying to improve on a dismal handicap on the golf course.
