Since 1996, Ian has pursued many cases for victims of asbestos diseases and their families, particularly those who worked at or lived close to the infamous J.W. Roberts factory in Armley, Leeds. He has worked on behalf of clients from overseas (mainly Australia and New Zealand) who contracted asbestos diseases before emigrating to other countries.
Ian has acted for the claimant in one of the largest mesothelioma awards for a client which was in excess of £750,000. He personally recovered damages for clients in the year May 2007 to May 2008 of more than £3m.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), a committee member of the Ridings Asbestos Support and Awareness Group (RASAG) and sits on the Leeds Court user group. He is committed to ensuring that his clients receive full and proper compensation from their injuries or illness.
