Denis O'Gorman

Denis is a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, and has over 20 years experience of industrial disease litigation. This has involved dealing with a wide variety of diseases including asthma, COPD, dermatitis, industrial deafness, mucous membrane, and various types of cancer.

He has been involved in some high profile cases including the first coal miners’ pneumoconiosis and bronchitis case, the subsequent coal industry respiratory disease litigation, and the highest award made for a mesothelioma case, and a landmark settlement for the first asbestos related retroperitoneal fibrosis case. Denis has more particularly specialised in claims on behalf of victims of asbestos related conditions.
