Until the 1990s Power Stations in the UK were operated by the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB). Asbestos was used in many power stations until the late 1970s to insulate pipe work. The pipe work needed to be maintained on a regular basis, so asbestos insulation was frequently being stripped and re-applied.
As well as pursuing claims against CEGB, we have also brought claims against companies who sent their workers into power stations such as:
- C A Parsons
- F H Wheeler & Co. Limited/Crown House Engineering Limited
- Foster Wheeler
- Versil Limited
